My name is Synthia Wilson I’m a visual artist ,editorial stylist and the founder and creative director of planet x a creative platform at the intersection of fashion,culture and story telling .

I’m based in Melbourne /Naarm, but most likely in the window seat of an airplane right now.
ART DIRECTION
I build worlds around a garment .concept, casting, palette, set and the story that holds it together. My work sits where fashion meets culture, and I direct from the mood board through to the final frame. Recent work spans campaign, editorial and brand identity for emerging labels and retail.
STYLING
Editorial and runway styling with a focus on silhouette, texture and character. I’ve styled for Melbourne Fashion Week and across campaign and editorial shoots, and I was recently named a finalist for Creative Direction Excellence at the Australian Style Institute Awards. Whether it’s one look or a full collection, I dress the idea, not just the model.
